I am a self proclaimed blog slacker. My life is just tooooo busy to blog. & I bet youre too busy to read my blog.

Blog slacker. Yeah, that's me! I'll admit it. I try not be, but life always gets in the way! You know, making dinner, homework with the kids, my job at the hospital, 4 boys plus a one year old (enough said yet?!), cleaning my house, I painted my living room this weekend while my husband was away much to his surprise ;) I've had RED the last five years since we've lived here and I've been dying to change it since we moved in. Red just makes a room look so dark. So I made it sunny yellow... LOVE IT! And I bought a new couch too. Celery green and comfortable! We've had a leather one and not the comfortable kind of leather.. the cold and hard type. So I'm glad to be rid of it :)

So anyhow, on to some pictures from the last few weeks that I've been meaning to post...

Spring is finally here... & It's about TIME :)
I usually hate raking, but I was so happy to be able to get out & rake the last few days after being cooped up all winter.
I've had lots of calls lately for family photo sessions & I'm booking for spring/summer right now, so If you want a session book now because I may not have anything last minute.

"The Sugar Chic" Rules!

I just wanted to show off this awesome cake that my sister had homemade by her friend. The girl usually makes special cookies for parties & made these delicious cookies for my baby shower which were just almost too ADORABLE to eat. But not quite. Because I ate a lot of them.

OK... so, I'm a little obsessive about details sometimes. I made a "picture" on photoshop of what I wanted my kids cake to look like.  I wanted a  "vintage circus theme" & I wanted the cake to match the invites. WHAT? Doesn't everyone do that? In all fairness, It was my daughter's FIRST birthday, my sons 3'rd & other sons 7th. I wanted it to be special. So, now that everyone knows how obsessive I am, heres the picture...

Hey! Don't laugh at me! ;)

Here is the cake....

..It just totally BLEW my expectations out of the water. It even had sparkly sugar all over it. It was seriously a PRETTY cake. Inside was just as awesome. Cookies & cream yummy Goodness!!
